Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore's first trailer has landed as a festive treat for Harry Potter fans.
We knew that the trailer was coming today (December 13) after Warner Bros released first-look footage last week. It's proven to be worth the wait as we've got the best look yet at Mads Mikkelsen's version of Grindelwald.
The trailer sees Dumbledore (Jude Law) give Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) a sombre warning. "The world as we know it is coming undone. Grindelwald is pulling it apart with hate. If we're to defeat him, you'll have to trust me," he says.
But do we? After all, he's keeping a secret...
In September 2021, it was confirmed that the new movie was called Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The new movie has been subject to a few delays, but it will now be arriving in cinemas in April 2022 instead of July.
The threequel will see Dumbledore attempt to stop Grindelwald from seizing control of the wizarding world. He needs Newt's help to lead a team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle on a dangerous mission.

As well as Redmayne and Law returning, The Secrets of Dumbledore also brings back Ezra Miller as Credence (aka Aurelius Dumbledore), Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein and Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein.
Jessica Williams will also be back as Ilvermorny professor Eulalie 'Lally' Hicks, and we're sure there will be plenty of other surprises in store for Potter fans.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is set for release in UK cinemas on April 8, 2022 and in US cinemas on April 15, 2022.
