There's something that's never quite sat right with us about Princess Leia's Star Wars: A New Hope accusation, "Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?"
Is she intimately acquainted with the height requirements of the Empire's military? Or was that supposed freedom fighter being needlessly judgy about her rescuer?
It's obviously bothered Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, and 40 years later he has used science to hit back at Leia's cruel slander.
His Twitter post demonstrates that Luke is actually taller than a stormtrooper. (Well, in action figure form, at least...)
Is this a clue to the plot of The Last Jedi? Has Luke been sulking in exile on Ahch-To, dwelling on the heightism that is tearing the galaxy apart? Does Rey come bearing a formal apology from the Republic?
Hamill and the late Carrie Fisher will feature in Rian Johnson's upcoming Episode 8 alongside Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Laura Dern, Andy Serkis, Benicio del Toro and Anthony Daniels.
