Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is now officially less than a month away from release, so it's time to start planning your viewing.

To help you, it's been revealed that tickets to Gareth Edwards's eagerly anticipated spin-off will go on sale in the UK and Ireland from 12.01am on Monday (November 21).

Basically, you're in for a late night tonight if you want to nab the best seats for the midnight screenings on December 15, meaning you'll see it before anyone in the US.

To mark the ticket release, Disney has released the 'Dream' TV spot which doesn't contain much that we haven't seen before - but it does have Felicity Jones's Jyn Erso laying down the law.

Responding to someone fearing the power of the Empire and asking "what chance do we have?", Jyn shoots back: "The question is: what choice?"

Last week, a new featurette was released that revealed Rogue One's deeper connection to the franchise's mythology, with Edwards explaining where the film fits in with the overarching Rebels vs Empire timeline.

What to Read Next

"Rogue One takes place very close to Episode IV [A New Hope]," he confirmed. "The simplest way to explain it is - that text you see at the beginning of A New Hope, that is essentially our movie."

Away from Rogue One, there was a huge addition to the cast of the untitled Young Han Solo movie as Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke was confirmed to star opposite Alden Ehrenreich.

But before we can get too excited about that, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will land in cinemas in the UK on December 15 and in US cinemas on December 16.
