There's endless speculation about who will become the next James Bond - and now reports suggest that Tom Hiddleston is indeed in the running.
The Thor actor has recently been involved in high-level talks with Bond production studio Eon about the coveted 007, role although no official offer has been made yet, according to BirthMoviesDeath.
Digital Spy has reached out to Tom Hiddleston's spokesperson for comment on the matter.
BirthMoviesDeath's report is caveated with the suggestion that Hiddleston discussing the role with Eon does not necessarily mean that current Bond actor Daniel Craig has officially dropped out.
Earlier in the week, there were rumblings that Eon was also negotiating with Jamie Bell to possibly take over the role of James Bond if Craig does actually quit the franchise.
However, it's been Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba that Bond fans have most often backed over the last few years to become the next 007.
