The Barden Bellas from Pitch Perfect might be warming up to hit that next high note right now.

That comes directly from franchise star Rebel Wilson, who dropped a serious hint about making Pitch Perfect 4 while dressed appropriately as Wilson the volleyball from Cast Away for the Halloween edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Ellen brought up Rebel's recent cast reunion photo with Anna Camp, Brittany Snow and Chrissie Fit — and asked if it was significant that "everyone in Pitch Perfect was posing with the number four".

"Uhhhh, I can't say anything officially," Rebel admitted. "We just love each other, all us girls. Definitely I'll be filming another musical film in the next 12 months, I can say that. You'll see me singing a bit more."

Now, Rebel could technically be talking about some other musical movie in the works, but she's probably not. After all, Anna Kendrick herself said in 2017 that Pitch Perfect 3 would not be the end of the Bellas.

Teasing that any future sequels could shift focus on a "new crop" of Bellas, she promised: "We'd do them forever."

What to Read Next

Pitch Perfect 3's more-than-$180 million box office haul ranks it as the second-highest grossing musical comedy of all time. Even more impressive is that's only topped by Pitch Perfect 2!

Next up for Rebel is starring with Adam Devine and Priyanka Chopra in the romantic comedy Isn't It Romantic, which opens on Valentine's Day in US cinemas.
