With production currently underway, rumours surrounding Spider-Man: Far from Home are thriving. And now, we might even have one confirmed.

Numan Acar is an actor set to appear in the superhero sequel, but his social media activity has caught more attention lately. In a now amended Instagram post, his use of hashtags makes for some fascinating reading.

Tagging Jake Gyllenhaal, Cobie Smulders and Samuel L. Jackson within an image caption, this could be confirmation of their involvement with Far from Home.

Jackson has publicly teased his inclusion already, while Gyllenhaal's role as villain Mysterio has been rumoured for months.

Does this also provide a slight spoiler for Avengers 4, given that Jackson's Nick Fury disintegrated before our very eyes at the end of Infinity War?

Recently, Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige discussed Far from Home as a much more geographically expansive movie, with production travelling to London for part of the shoot.

"We shot the first film in Atlanta," he stated. "And we shoot a lot of films in London but there's another reason we're shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he'll spend some time in other parts of the globe."

With Mysterio's likely appearance in the film, Peter Parker's time might also be spent in artificial worlds.

Spider-Man: Far from Home will be released on July 5, 2019.
