Evangeline Lilly has hinted that she and Brie Larson will share a scene together in Marvel's upcoming superhero epic, Avengers 4.

Lilly, who will don the Wasp's costume for the first time in Ant-Man and the Wasp, recently hinted during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she developed a friendship with Larson while on the set of Avengers 4, or as close you could get to a friendship on a movie set.

"When I was working on Avengers, I got to know Brie Larson pretty well, or as much as you can on a film, and her and I talked about it," said Lilly.

She continued: "And of course she's going to be the next titled female superhero, she's going to be Captain Marvel, and I'm sure this will be the beginning of many, many more titled Marvel films. Black Widow. Scarlet Witch."

"I mean I don't know who's next or who's going to get a film, but it's just the beginning," she finished.

Brie Larson will be playing Captain Marvel, aka Carol Danvers, in her first solo film, which also happens to be Marvel's very first female-led superhero movie.

We got a little Captain Marvel tease at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, and we're pretty sure we'll get to see her in Avengers 4, which may or may not be called Avengers: End Game.

Kevin Feige has suggested that Lilly and Larson's characters will be integral to the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward.

Avengers 4 will be released in the UK on April 26, 2019, and in the US on May 3, 2019.
