In case you hadn't realised it by now, absolutely no one is safe from Deadpool's quips, criticisms and mocking, least of all David Beckham.
If you cast your minds back to the first Deadpool movie, you may remember a little moment that featured Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) delivering a hell of a one liner about the footballer-turned-one-time-actor.
"Have you ever heard David Beckham speak?" Wade says. "It sounds like he mouth-sexed a can of helium."
Well, it may have taken two years, but it turns out that Deadpool just can't escape his Canadian roots and has offered Beckham an apology for the remark in a new video. After all, in the words of Ryan Reynolds' Instagram caption, it's a little known fact that "Canadians are born with a black belt in apology".
In the video, Beckham can be seen watching the line over and over again before Deadpool embarks on a quest to get the star to forgive him.
His texts go ignored, so he shows up at Beckham's door, first with milk and cookies, second with a bunch of helium-filled balloons and then with a mariachi band singing 'lo siento' – the Spanish for, you guessed it, 'sorry'.

Eventually, Deadpool finds the thing he needs to win over Beckham's forgiveness – tickets to the cup.
"I can't stay mad at you," Beckham tells him, before going in for one of Deadpool's "healing hugs". That he can't actually get out of. Small price to pay, really.
One thing Deadpool has been quite unapologetic about in the build up to the release of Deadpool 2 is his feelings about Eurovision – and, by extension, Europe – after they've once again snubbed Canada from the contest while letting in Australia, even though that country is "barely on the planet".
He's also recently been trolling a little film called Avengers: Infinity War and its request for spoiler-free talk about it after its release with his own demand for silence.
"We're asking that when you see Deadpool 2, you don't say a f**king word about the fun shit in the movie," the request read. "Cause it'd be super lame to spoil the fact that Deadpool dies in this one. Kidding. Not kidding. Kidding?"
Guess we'll find out next week, in any case.
