Now that the Hollywood cockroach nest is slowly being upended (there are still a good few corners to fumigate, of course), it can be difficult for the discerning viewer to know which of their favourite films or TV shows is connected to a creepy exec or abusive director.

But help is at hand, because a new website called Rotten Apples (very clever) is here to inform you just how ethical that new blockbuster or cult series really is.

What to Read Next

The premise is simple: type in the name of any film or series and you'll be told if an alleged abuser or creep is in any way connected to the project.

For instance, you might not know that Harvey Weinstein helped produce The Lord of the Rings and Southpaw, or that Louis CK was... never mind, you know about him.

The good news is that Drive (plus many others we're sure, we didn't check) is untainted by allegations or misconduct. So you can watch Ryan Gosling cave in people's heads safe in the knowledge that you and everyone involved is a Good Guy.

Hooray for you!
