The first look at Steven Spielberg's Ready Player Oneadaptation has more Easter eggs than we can shake a stick at, so we aren't that surprised to discover that its logo contains one, too.

Can you spot it? (No pressure.)

The logo, created by Pentagram's Emily Oberman, is not only a wonderful homage to '80s gaming and nostalgia, it's also interactive. (And pretty damn clever.)

Yep, if you look closely – as the clever people of Gizmodo did – you'll realise that the logo's letters are connected to make up a maze.

If you play along starting at the very first letter, you'll eventually find yourself at the egg hidden inside the 'O' on 'One'. Is this too much detail to handle or is it just us?

Not only is Ready Player One's logo a damn maze, that maze is a nod to Atari video game Adventure, which, funnily enough, first introduced the world to the concept of Easter eggs.

Oh, and it was also the inspiration of Oasis creator James Halliday in the original Ready Player One story. Consider our minds blown.

Spielberg's film is set around the virtual reality world of Oasis, after Halliday dies and a competition to find a hidden Easter egg and win his entire fortune is launched.

Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, Ben Mendelsohn, Mark Rylance, Simon Pegg and TJ Miller will star in Ready Player One, which is scheduled for release next year.
