Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron come to the rescue in new Baywatch trailer

The latest trailer for Zac Efron and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's Baywatch reboot is here.

Johnson stars as Mitch Buchannon opposite obnoxious newbie Zac Efron as Matt Brody (played by David Charvet in the original), with the High School Musical actor operating at peak Efron once again.

Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Priyanka Chopra and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II also star in the movie.

Legendary tight swimwearers David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson have cameos too – although we're unsure if it'll be a sizeable one, like your nan's bathing gown, or more of a fleeting slip, like Bobby Norris's schlong thong.

Baywatch follows devoted lifeguard Mitch as he butts heads with Efron's brash new recruit. Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay.
