Ant-Man and the Wasp will soon join the likes of Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War in production.
According to My Entertainment World, Marvel's sequel will start production on July 6, 2017 and will shoot, like many Marvel offerings, at Atlanta's Pinewood studio (via Den of Geek).
Ant-Man's (Paul Rudd) second solo outing follows his super-sized cameo in Captain America: Civil War and will come out after he's made an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War.
It centres on Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne, who was seen in the Ant-Man post-credits scene being introduced to the Wasp outfit by her father Hank Pym, played by Michael Douglas.
And to show he means business, Douglas has already started growing his character's goatee again for the role.
Not much is known of Ant-Man and the Wasp although we could well be paying a repeat visit to the Quantum Realm, where Hank's wife (and the original Wasp) has been lost for decades.

Maybe we might even be seeing Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) play a part in rescuing the original Wasp after that film's director Scott Derrickson confirmed a connection to Ant-Man in Doctor Strange's psychedelic sequence.
"This image here is obviously a nod to Ant-Man and the Quantum Realm, acknowledging that as one of the mysterious realms of existence," he explained in the film's director's commentary.
We'll have to wait and see if we're right when Ant-Man and the Wasp is released in UK cinemas on June 29, 2018 and US cinemas on July 6, 2018.
