Ever wanted Tom Cruise on your phone? Well, now you can have him.
The hilarious (mistakenly-released) The Mummy trailer that contained dialogue but little of the music and sound effects has given us another gift in the form of a Cruise ringtone.
But not just any Cruise ringtone. It's one of his quite unforgettable screams as the plane his character's in crashes, leading to the death of Hollywood's previously bulletproof hero.
Just have a listen to this and try to resist the urge to download it straightaway. It's hypnotic.
The unexpected Christmas gift came from IMAX uploading, and then deleting, a version of the ace trailer for The Mummy reboot without much of the sound effects, music or background noise, meaning we really hear every yelp and scream.
We've already had our say on how we reckon the unusual presence of a Cruise scream is a sign of the times, and The Mummy director Alex Kurtzman has also spoken about why he had to kill him off.
What to Read Next
"When I go to a Tom Cruise movie, my assumption is: Tom's going to save the day. That's just what I know because I've seen so many Tom Cruise movies," he explained.
"I think for a monster movie to work and to scare me, my lead character has to be in the kind of jeopardy that I don't believe he or she could get out of."
But don't panic, Cruise's character doesn't stay dead.
Maybe we'll even be seeing him again in Universal's shared monster universe, which kicks off with The Mummy. Dracula Untold? Never heard of it.
The Mummy is unleashed into UK and US cinemas on June 9, 2017. Watch the (proper) trailer below:
