The ultimate Lord of the Rings and Hobbit box set - which combines all SIX extended editions of the films - has hit Amazon.com.
The "Middle-Earth Limited Collector's Edition" set includes 30 (yeah, THIRTY) Blu-ray discs of footage, plus extended cuts of An Unexpected Journey, Desolation of Smaug, Battle of the Five Armies, Fellowship of the Ring, Two Towers and Return of the King.
All of the previously released behind-the-scenes documentaries are also included in the set - which was initially listed on Amazon for $800, though fortunately that devastating price has since been removed.

On the aesthetic front, each film is wrapped in its own faux-leather-wrapped book case (so veggies and vegans can own it too!), which all sit on a wooden bookshelf "crafted from solid wood with a design selected by Peter Jackson".

But wait, there's more... it also comes with a recreation of the Red Book of Westmarch (Bilbo and Frodo's Hobbit and LOTR stories), which is actually full of official concept art from the films by Alan Lee and John Howe.
