As new details and spoilers start spiralling out from the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, we've now got our first look at the film's villain, the Vulture.

The concept art shows Peter Parker's web-slinger locked in battle with Adrian Toomes's high-flying alter ego.

At Comic-Con on Saturday, director Jon Watts revealed why he was so keen to bring the Marvel baddie to the screen.

"Vulture's the first real villain in the Spider-Man comics," he said. "He's in the second issue. He's one of the classics from the best rogues' gallery out there, and we've never seen him - he's never been brought to life."

It still hasn't been officially announced who's actually playing Vulture, although confirmed cast member Michael Keaton has been heavily rumoured for the role.

After making his debut in Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland takes on the role of the high schooler navigating both the teen-filled corridors and his superhero powers.
