Spider-Man: Homecoming's cast gets more and more impressive by the day.
The latest esteemed star to join the cast of the Marvel movie is Tyne Daly, the six-time Emmy-winning actress of Cagney & Lacey and Judging Amy.
Her exact role is being kept under wraps by Marvel and Sony for now, according to Deadline.
While Spider-Man: Homecoming's cast is mainly made of newcomers such as Tom Holland, Zendaya and Tony Revolori, the reboot also brings back Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man.
The mysterious villains will be played by Batman star Michael Keaton, Logan Marshall-GreenĀ and Bokeem Woodbine.
Earlier this week, it emerged that Marvel and Sony are plotting an inter-connected universe of Spider-Man films to coexist with the Marvel movies.
Spider-Man: Homecoming, starring Holland as the titular webslinger, will be released on July 7, 2017.
