Hannibal Buress - one of the US's brightest stand-up comedians - has lined up a role in Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Buress has inked a deal to join the reboot of the Spider-Man franchise fresh off critically-lauded movies The Nice Guys and Neighbours 2: Sorority Rising, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He'll be appearing alongside fellow comics Donald Glover and Martin Starr - whose roles are all being kept secret for now.

Tom Holland swings into action once again next year for the high school-set Homecoming, in which he'll team up with Avengers star Robert Downey Jr to face off with Michael Keaton.
Spider-Man: Homecoming arrives in UK and US cinemas on July 7, 2017.
Also on Monday, a separate animated Spider-Man was given a December 21, 2018 release date by Sony Pictures.
