The writers of Captain America: Civil War have laid to rest the claims that there have been multiple endings shot for the movie.
Last year the rumour-mill piped up that Cap might meet a grisly demise, and either Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) or Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) would pick up his shield.
But rest assured Cap lovers, because those rumours have been shot down once and for all.
"No, I saw that on the internet and that's crap," Stephen McFeely told Uproxx. "I read, we read we filmed three deaths."
Christopher Markus added: "This is very much the movie we've always intended on where we wanted to stand and where we wanted to leave it."
