Fantastic Four actor Michael B Jordan says he "still stands by" by the superhero film, despite it being widely derided as one of the worst blockbuster movies of last year.
Director Josh Trank's troubled reboot of Fox's mid-00s Fantastic Four series grossed just $168m worldwide from a budget of $120m, having been slaughtered by critics.
The situation went from bad to worse a week after Fantastic Four hit cinemas, when Trank appeared to disown the film on Twitter.
Jordan, a key member of the ensemble cast as the Human Torch, says he's not embarrassed by the film, which this week picked up several Razzie nominations, including one for Worst Picture.
"I stand by anything I get in front of," he told Digital Spy. "But at the end of the day so many things come into place with a film that makes it successful or not, and a lot of it is outside of the actors' control.
"For me, going to work every day, I put 110% into everything I do," he continued. "So I stand by my work ethic and the performance I put in."
Michael B Jordan can be seen in Creed, which is out now.
