Next time you head to your local multiplex, look around in the foyer? If it doesn't look like the inside of the Death Star, prepare to be disappointed.

The Alamo Draft House in Omaha, Nebraska has gone the extra mile in honour of the upcoming release of Star Wars The Force Awakens, decking out the lobby in Sith-pleasing garb.

Sure, there's no Christmas tree in the shape of Darth Vader, but what does that matter when there is an imposing throne for would-be evil-doers to threaten stormtroopers from, just waiting to be sat on.

Then there's the actual desk, which looks so much like the inside of the Death Star canteen, Eddie Izzard is probably clapping his hands with glee this very minute.

Entertainent Weekly has all the details how it was all put together, so if you're curious, check out their pictures in this direction.

Incidentally, yes, that is a 10-foot Death Star hanging from the ceiling. And you're right, there is a giant green laser coming from it. Think of it as a giant bauble, only it might evaporate you into nothingness.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits cinemas (in the UK at least) on December 17.
