The Hunger Games' prequel The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes has found a new streaming home in the UK.

The movie starring Rachel Zegler and Tom Blyth as Lucy Gray Baird and a young Coriolanus Snow has just been added to Netflix in the UK and Ireland.

Released in 2023, the dystopian prequel is set 64 years before the events of the first Hunger Games movie. A young Snow — who would go on to become president of Panem, played by late legend Donald Sutherland — is assigned to mentor Lucy, the tribute from the impoverished district 12.

When Lucy captivates the audience with her musical skills, Snow sees an opportunity to change their fates.

The movie also stars Euphoria's Hunter Schafer as Coriolanus' cousin and confidante Tigris Snow, a character who previously appeared in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.
