Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively's long-awaited sequel Another Simple Favour has debuted with a fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes following its first reviews.
The Prime Video follow-up to 2018's A Simple Favour sees the pair's characters Stephanie Smothers and Emily Nelson reunite in Italy for Emily's extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman.
However, guests who RSVP to these particular nuptials can expect murder, betrayal and "more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square," the synopsis reads.

What to Read Next
The Hollywood Reporter
"The friendship between these two is still the strongest part of the Simple Favour universe, and it's really thanks to them that Another Simple Favour is watchable."
Indie Wire
"A swing for the fences that’s unconstrained by any form of reality is a pleasant thing to watch, even if its existence feels like little more than an excuse for the cast to hang out in Capri while Blake Lively models an indescribable collection of hats."

Deadline
"While some might argue that Feig and writers Jessica Sharzer and Laeta Kalogridis are too reliant on obvious nods to the original film, the references ultimately add a playful camp wink to a fun and exciting film that stands on its own."
The Guardian
"Another Simple Favour drops threads and drags on, but survives on its self-assured baseline pleasures: the gorgeous yet nonsensical setting of Capri, the lush wonders of Renée Ehrlich Kalfus's costume design and the two leads' perfectly calibrated banter."
Collider
"Similar to the original, Another Simple Favour manages to defy your expectations. It's a sequel that never feels hellbent on just repeating the same plot beats as the first."
IGN Movies
"Not every attempt to expand on the concept is successful, but as a piece of escapist entertainment it's more clever than most."
Another Simple Favour will stream on Prime Video on May 1.
