The third Wolverine movie is scheduled to start shooting in 2016, ready for release the following year.
Director James Mangold revealed the news via Twitter.

Hugh Jackman is due to resume his lead role, and recently said he would like to play the X Man "until I die".
In the meantime, X Men: Apocalypse and Deadpool are both slated for release next year, with Jackman recently saying he would like a cameo in the latter.
"They are definitely enemies in the comics and they always spark off well together, so I'd be open to that idea," he explained.
The third Wolverine movie, which is currently untitled, has been given a US release date of March 3, 2017.
