Kraven the Hunter has now arrived in cinemas, bringing a supposed end (for now) to Sony's Spider-Man Universe.
But when Kraven the Hunter was being planned, it didn't know that it might be the final spin-off movie, so you'd be forgiven for wondering whether or not the new Spidey spin-off had anything after the credits.
After all, Aaron Taylor-Johnson still thinks there could be a sequel, telling The Hollywood Reporter: "This first movie is for everybody – the audiences, come see it, and I think by the end of the movie you're going to want to see him go on."
So with that in mind, we're here with the definitive guide as to whether Kraven the Hunter has any credit scenes to stick around for.
Does Kraven the Hunter have a post-credits scene?
We can confirm that Kraven the Hunter does not have a post-credits scene – or any credit scenes for that matter, so you can leave as soon as the credits start to roll.
It's unclear whether there was ever a planned credit scene, but the movie itself ends with a scene that teases what a future sequel might be about so the filmmakers might have viewed a credit scene as unnecessary.
What to Read Next
Kraven the Hunter is the third Sony-Marvel offering this year after Madame Web and Venom: The Last Dance. Madame Web equally didn't have any credit scenes, while Venom 3 gave us two credit scenes teasing the future of this universe.
If, somehow, we get a sequel, then director JC Chandor does at least know where this all leads.
"[The movie is] essentially this building of a villain. The final piece in that, for Aaron and for me, was in Kraven's Last Hunt, which, if this thing works and is a success, that's where we'd have this story end," he told Collider.
"It's obviously very tragic and sad. The journey getting there is a wild crazy ride with a lot of fun, but the character we're trying to create is one who could realistically, if this film is a success, end with Last Hunt."
With the future of the SSU in doubt though, perhaps it's for the best that Kraven the Hunter didn't have a credit scene teasing something that will possibly never be resolved.
After all, remember when Morbius tried to set up the Sinister Six (again)?
