British wartime drama Blitz is streaming on Apple TV+ from today (Friday, November 22).
The critically-acclaimed movie is directed by the Oscar and BAFTA Award-winning filmmaker Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave, Small Axe) and takes place in London during World War II.
Blitz follows a 9-year-old boy named George (played by Elliott Heffernan in his film debut), who's sent to the English countryside by his mother to escape the bombings.
An epic journey ensues when George embarks on an adventure to reunite with his mother Rita (Saoirse Ronan) and grandfather in East London, only to encounter immense peril as his distraught mum searches for her missing son.
You can watch Blitz for free by taking advantage of an Apple TV+ seven-day free trial, which will give you access to the film and all other content on the platform.

In addition to Saoirse Ronan and Elliott Heffernan, Blitz also stars Harris Dickinson (The Iron Claw), Benjamin Clementine (Dune: Part One), Kathy Burke (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), musician and actor Paul Weller, and Stephen Graham (This Is England).
The drama has had a limited run in cinemas and is now being released on Apple TV+ in the UK.
Blitz joins other Apple original films on the service including the award-winning Killers of Flower Moon, the recently-released Wolfs, The Instigators, Napoleon, Argylle and many more shows and movies which are available to stream on the platform.
