Spider-Man 4, starring Tom Holland, will be hitting cinemas in 2026.
According to Variety, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton is on board to direct the currently untitled Spidey film and it will be released on July 24, 2026.
This means Spider-Man 4 will premiere two months after Avengers: Doomsday lands in cinemas worldwide on May 1, 2026. This is similar to the way Spider-Man: Far From Home was released two months after Avengers: Endgame.
Cretton had originally been slated to direct the next Avengers film but announced late last year he was departing the sequel to work on other Marvel projects.
Tom Holland is set to return as Peter Parker following the events of 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, where he came face-to-face (to face) with Multiverse variants of himself played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Holland revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week that there is a "crazy" idea at the center of Spider-Man's fourth cinematic outing in the MCU.
"It’s happening. Next summer we start shooting, everything’s good to go, we’re nearly there, super exciting. I can’t wait," he told Fallon.

While Holland has not yet revealed any plot details for the sequel, he did tell Fallon that both himself and co-star Zendaya were "bouncing around the living room" while reading the script.
Holland also has another major film role on the horizon, as it was announced this week that he will star with Matt Damon in director Christopher Nolan's mysterious new project for Universal Pictures.
Spider-Man 4 will release on July 24, 2026. Spider-Man: No Way Home is available to buy now on Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and other digital retailers.
