Deadpool & Wolverine has finally landed in cinemas, and you might be wondering just how long the new MCU movie is.

We can confirm that Deadpool & Wolverine runs for 127 minutes and 45 seconds, or nearly two hours and eight minutes if you prefer.

That makes it the longest Deadpool movie yet ahead of first Deadpool movie's 108 minutes and Deadpool 2's 119 minutes. It's nowhere near the longest MCU movie though, which remains Avengers: Endgame.

There's also one post-credits scene which comes right at the end of the credits, so you'll have to sit through the entire 127 minutes if you want to see it.

Talking to Digital Spy, director Shawn Levy explained why they wanted to keep around the two-hour mark for the movie.

"I'm personally astonished that a three-hour movie has become an acceptable norm. I find it exhausting. It, for me, places the bar so high because boy, you better have made a masterpiece if you're gonna ask me to sit for three hours," he noted.

"Now, sometimes people do. Denis Villeneuve is capable of making those movies. [Christopher] Nolan is capable of making those movies. I think I'm pretty good at my job, Ryan's really good at his job, but the movie is only as long as the story wants it to be.

"We're not here to indulge ourselves. We're here to entertain you. We're here to entertain them. And so we're really rigorous in questioning every joke, every scene, and every second of runtime."
