Studio Ghibli's latest masterpiece The Boy and the Heron is now available to watch at home in the UK.
You can now rent or buy digitally Hayao Miyazaki's movie on Amazon, Microsoft Store and iTunes from today (September 16). If you can wait a little bit longer, the film will be available to stream on Netflix UK from October 7.
The movie has also confirmed the release of its digital copies. In the UK, you can now pre-order the movie on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD until its release on September 23, and a Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Steelbook which will be released on October 7.

If you're in the US, you can buy the movie digitally on Amazon, Microsoft Store and iTunes too. You can also now buy the Blu-ray edition for $26.95, as well as a limited edition steelbook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray for $31.99.
This physical edition includes bonus features such as feature-length storyboards, a music video and interviews with producer Toshio Suzuki and composer Joe Hisaishi.
In the US, The Boy and The Heron is already available to stream on Max.

Out of the US and Japan, the movie will land on Netflix, including the UK.
Following last year's cinema release and its Oscar win last March, The Boy and The Heron is finally making its way to Ghibli fans' homes.
Loosely inspired by Genzaburō Yoshino's 1937 novel How Do You Live?, the movie follows a 10-year-old boy grieving the death of his mother when he is drawn to a magical adventure thanks to a talking heron.
The movie was released back in December in the UK and US, collecting box-office records along the way — it was the first original anime to land at number one in the US box office, and it became Studio Ghibli's highest-grossing movie at the US box office and the UK box office, overtaking the Oscar-winning classic Spirited Away.
Following The Boy and The Heron's roaring success worldwide, Hayao Miyazaki is already working on his next project.
