Civil War has been one of the most-talked about movies of 2024 (as well as being one of its best movies), and you can now check out the movie at home if you missed it at the cinema.

The latest movie from Alex Garland follows a group of war journalists – played by Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeny and Stephen McKinley Henderson – as they attempt to get to the White House before the civil war in America ends.

Civil War is still out in cinemas if you want the big-screen experience, but it has now been released on digital platforms in the UK and the US to watch it at home.

After setting a new record with its US opening for A24, Civil War has gone on to make more than $105 million worldwide, the second-biggest result for the company behind Everything Everywhere All At Once.

The movie also sees Dunst star in an intense scene with her husband Jesse Plemons, who plays a militant that the group come across with deadly consequences.

"I was, on that day, I felt very much proud of how incredible he was. So that's how I felt, but I have a different seat in the room of that scene," Dunst told Digital Spy about the pivotal scene.

"When we first saw that set, it was very horrific, just the way it all looked and everything. Even in the script, that scene was the shift in the film, where things start to kick into high gear."
