Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga star Anya Taylor-Joy has revealed she doesn't actually have her driving licence yet.
Despite showing off with adrenaline-fuelled car stunts in the movie, Taylor-Joy confirmed she can't even legally drive to a supermarket by herself in real life.

"I still don't have my licence. I haven't been anywhere long enough to get a licence," she said, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
The actor was born in Miami, and was later raised in Buenos Aires and London, which explains her lack of a licence, though co-star Chris Hemsworth suggested "unofficially, she does" have one, anyway.
"Yeah, it is pretty cool that the first thing I learned to do in a car is a juicy lift 180. I feel pretty secure in that, but I love cars. I love Formula 1. My dad was a power boat racer, so we're just pretty petrol-y as a family," Taylor-Joy shared.

When she does get her licence officially, the actor has her eyes set on a specific car. "I know once I have my license, the stupid car that I'm going to get," she said, adding: "I'll probably break it."
"It's a Ferrari Dino. Those are hot cars. It's going to be bright yellow and I'm psyched."
"Your driving test should just be you handing them a DVD of Furiosa: 'You tell me if I can f***ing drive,'" Hemsworth joked, referencing her skills in the movie.
Taylor-Joy plays a younger version of Imperator Furiosa in the movie, which is a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road in which the character (played by Charlize Theron) was originally introduced. Hemsworth stars alongside Taylor-Joy as warlord nemesis Dementus.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will be released on May 24, 2024.
