Jerry O'Connell is the latest actor to be cast in the Veronica Mars movie.
The Burning Love star will play Dan Lamb, the brother of the late Sheriff Lamb.
O'Connell's character is described as the long-lost sibling of the previous sheriff, who was killed off in season three of Veronica Mars.
Creator Rob Thomas broke the news on Wednesday (July 17) via the Veronica Mars movie's Kickstarter page.
"I'm pleased to tell you that Jerry O'Connell has joined Veronica Mars as Sheriff Dan Lamb, a new Lamb Brother I hope you love to hate," he wrote.
