Napoleon might not have received as much love from the Oscars 2024 as other movies like Oppenheimer and Poor Things, but it's still one of the most talked-about movies of the season.
Ridley Scott's epic divided critics after its November release (it landed a disappointing 58% rating at Rotten Tomatoes), but it ended up scoring three Oscar noms for Costume Design, Visual Effects and Production Design.
The movie was first made available to rent or buy digitally in January 2024. However, like Killers of the Flower Moon, Napoleon was going to be eventually added to Apple TV+ for its streaming debut, and that moment has finally arrived.

Napoleon joins Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon as one of the best movies on Apple TV+. Starring Joaquin Phoenix and Vanessa Kirby, the movie tells the epic story of Napoleon Bonaparte, from his early military achievements to his tragic downfall.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Ridley Scott said that "these kinds of films are like climbing a mountain."
"At the ground level, the peak looks a long way off.
"But as you climb up the hill with your partners in this ridiculously challenging Lego kit of information you're trying to put together, sometimes pieces don't fit and you're already at 20,000 feet. It's a continual day-by-day process, but that's why I do it. I love it."
