Ryan Gosling blockbuster The Fall Guy's release date has been pushed back.

Originally meant to arrive into cinemas on March 1, 2024, the David Leitch-directed movie will now be released on May 3, according to Variety.

This is thanks to Deadpool 3 vacating that date in light of the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Previewing the movie back in March, Oscar-nominee Hsu teased: "It's been so fun. David [Leitch] and [producer Kelly McCormick] showed me a sizzle reel last time I was in Australia, and I think it's going to be so good.

"Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt — amazing, amazing. I've been a huge fan of Ryan's since forever. I've always felt that he's cut from the same kind of weirdo cloth actually, and he definitely is. He's so funny, so silly and such an artist."

Speaking of Blunt, the actress revealed in the summer that she's taking a Hollywood sabbatical following a busy period infront of the camera.

"This year, I'm not working. I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is nine, so we're in the last year of single digits," she said. "And I just feel [like] there are cornerstones to their day that are so important when they're little.

"And it's, 'Will you wake me up? Will you take me to school? Will you pick me up? Will you put me to bed?' And I just need to be there for all of them for a good stretch. And I just felt that in my bones."

The Fall Guy hits cinemas on May 3, 2024.
