Five Nights at Freddy's finally arrived in cinemas in time for Halloween after an eight-year wait for fans to see the video game series make it to the big screen.

The movie centres on security guard Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson), who takes a night-time gig looking after the derelict Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant. After his first night at work, though, Mike realises the new job might be more trouble than it's worth.

Unlike most major releases, Five Nights at Freddy's received a simultaneous streaming release in the US, but UK fans weren't so lucky. However, the wait in the UK to watch the movie at home is now over.

Universal has now released the movie at home in the UK too, so you can buy or rent Five Nights at Freddy's right now from Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and other digital retailers.

There is also a limited edition 4K Steelbook available to pre-order now from Amazon, Zavvi and more, but Universal has yet to confirm the release date for the movie's physical release.

The standard DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD releases are also available to pre-order in the UK.

In the US, Five Nights at Freddy's is available to watch on Peacock after it was released on the same day as its theatrical debut on October 27.

If you're in the US and not a Peacock subscriber, you can sign up for $5.99 a month (with ads) or $11.99 a month (without ads). You could also pick a yearly subscription of $59.99 (with ads) or $119.99 (without ads). Note you'll also need to be physically located in the US to be able to stream Peacock content.
