Batgirl actress Leslie Grace has shared a look at what would have been one of her Batgirl costumes from the cancelled movie.
Grace was all set to star as Barbara Gordon AKA Batgirl until the movie was axed by DC in a major reshuffle of its properties.
Now, Grace has shared a montage of clips and images from 2022 that features a sneak peek at her Batgirl outfit. While it may not matter much anymore, fans will still be intrigued to get a look at what could have been.

Captioning the video, Grace wrote: "Thank u for teachin’ me, 2022. You were singular in many ways that will stay with me. my gratitude and love for life is much deeper thanks to the experiences you brought me."
She continued: "I take your lessons with me as we part.🙏🏽 Here’s to many more stories to tell, memories to make, and love to give in 2023."
The video showed clips of Grace filming the movie as well as some behind-the-scenes images of her in costume. The costume itself is a shade of purple with a bright yellow Batgirl emblem emblazoned on the chest, a yellow-lined cape, and gold gauntlets.

At the time of the movie's cancellation, Warner Bros. released a statement saying the decision wasn't based on the performance of its "incredibly talented" lead star, but rather a simple change in strategy concerning DC projects.
Grace then shared her own statement on the cancelled movie, thanking all of the cast and crew for their time on the project.
"Querida familia! On the heels of the recent news about our movie 'Batgirl,' I am proud of the love, hard work and intention all of our incredible cast and tireless crew put into this film over 7 months in Scotland," Grace wrote.
"I feel blessed to have worked among absolute greats and forged relationships for a lifetime in the process!"
