Nope has proven just as much of a conversation starter as Jordan Peele's Get Out and Us, and now you can get involved at home.

The sci-fi horror movie centres two siblings (Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer) who, following the death of their father in a freak accident, discover something sinister and potentially otherworldly in the skies above their horse ranch.

Nope received an exclusive cinema release in the US in July and a few weeks later in August in the UK, but it has finally started to be available to watch online at home.

How to watch Nope in the UK

We've got bad news for you in the UK as Nope hasn't yet been made available to rent or buy at home.

The only place you can see the movie right now is in cinemas and it might not be available elsewhere until the end of September. Assuming that the movie has a 45 day exclusive theatrical window, it'll be available to rent nearer the end of September.

Recent Universal releases Jurassic World: Dominion and Minions: The Rise of Gru were made available to rent via premium video-on-demand 46 days after their cinema release. A similar timeline puts Nope's home rental on Monday, September 26.

We're just speculating for now, so watch this space and we'll update when we know more.

You can also pre-order Nope on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD, but there has yet to be a release date confirmed for the home release. Zavvi also has an exclusive Steelbook version available to pre-order for £29.99.

How to watch Nope in the US

We've got good news if you're in the US as Nope is available to rent digitally right now.

You can rent the movie for $19.99 from Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu and other participating digital retailers. You'll have 30 days to start watching and 48 hours to finish watching once you've started.

It's not yet available to own, but you can pre-order it on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD.
