The Sandman star Boyd Holbrook has opened up on starring on the upcoming "badass" chapter in the Indiana Jones franchise.
Indiana Jones 5 will see the return of Harrison Ford in the iconic role of the archaeo-star 15 years after Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released in cinemas.
Holbrook, recently seen as The Corinthian in The Sandman, is part of the cast of Indy 5 alongside Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Hannibal's Mads Mikkelsen and Toby Jones, among others.

"I can assure you that it's going to be badass," Holbrook told Men's Health.
Directed by James Mangold, the untitled project is expected to debut in theatres next year.
"I got to see like half an hour of it when I went to LA, and I saw Jim. You know, just look at his work: Ford v Ferrari, it's gonna be fast, it's gonna be badass, and it's gonna have heart. All of his films have this emotional beat in them, but we've got this grand scale of Indiana Jones," Holbrook continued.

The Narcos actor also opened up about working with Ford, describing him as "the best type of crazy".
"And I really grew up with Indiana Jones. I wasn't so big on other franchises, and stuff like that, but to do that, it really just reignited why I want to do this," he said.
"Because you live on the road. It's been about 10 months on the road right now, being a traveling circus with your family. It was just refreshing to want to go through all that."
Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled for release on June 23, 2023. The Sandman season one is streaming now on Netflix.
