It's been four years since the last film in the Predator franchise hit our screens, and we're now being treated to a fifth entry in the mainline series with prequel Prey, which is now available to stream on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.
Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey follows young skilled warrior Naru, who was raised by legendary hunters in the Great Plains, and she has to put her skills to the ultimate test when she ends up facing off with the iconic alien predator and its technically advanced arsenal.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane), the action thriller has already been receiving rave reviews – here's how you can watch the newest entry in the Predator franchise.
Prey is available to watch on Disney+ in the UK after releasing on August 5, 2022.
If you're not already a Disney+ subscriber you can sign up to the streaming service for £7.99 a month, or £79.90 for a full year, which works out cheaper if you want an annual commitment.

Prey is the fifth mainline film in the Predator franchise following Predator (1987), Predator 2 (1990), Predators (2010) and The Predator (2018), not including spinoff titles Alien vs Predator (2004) and Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (2007).
Trachtenberg has taken the franchise in a refreshing new direction with Prey, not only with the 1719 setting, but it will also make history with it being the first film dubbed in Comanche alongside the English version, with an authentic portrayal of the culture.
"After we wrote the initial draft of the movie, we found a woman named Juanita Pahdopony and her nephew Dustin Tahmahkera to help consult and advise us on the writing of the screenplay, who's a Comanche culture bearer herself," Trachtenberg noted when speaking with Digital Spy.
