Marvel is pushing ahead with its Thunderbolts movie, hiring the writer of Black Widow to work on the script.
It's expected that the film will be the Marvel equivalent of Suicide Squad, focusing on a team of supervillains hired by the government to do their dirty work. Across the MCU, we've seen Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine recruit characters like Yelena and John Walker/US Agent.
Despite all the on-screen setup, Falcon and the Winter Soldier actor Wyatt Russell has admitted that no-one from Marvel Studios has been in contact about future projects.

"You know the idea, right? I'm not a moron. I mean, I know what they're thinking of, but you don't know when they're going to do it, if they're going to do it, what's going to happen," he told The Playlist.
"When you get the phone call, you get the phone call. And they do a really good job of keeping it from everybody because, you know, they've got something to protect and I always say like, I'd just rather not know. Just don't tell me. I don't need to know.
"Just tell me when you want me to show up. Other than that, just keep me in the dark. I don't care. And if you do tell me, tell me in enough time where I can get to the gym because right now, I don't look like John Walker...

"They keep it really, really tight, and it's like, you respect that because they've got other's bottom lines to look out for than what they think I need to know."
Although this group of villains is one of the things being threaded through the films, fans think that the franchise is aiming to adapt another comic storyline as its next Endgame-level crossover.
Thor: Love and Thunder has a release date of July 7 in the UK and July 8 in the US. The other three Thor movies are available to stream now on Disney+.
