Following his appearance as Sersi's (Gemma Chan) boyfriend in Marvel's Eternals, fans are looking forward to Kit Harington's next appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Harington played Dane Whitman, and was teased in the end credits scene of Eternals as returning as superhero Black Knight in future films.
Speaking to Zoe Ball on BBC's The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, Harrington gave us an update on when that might happen – but, be warned, it's not as exciting as it seems.

Sadly, the Game of Thrones actor did not offer much information, saying: "No, not that I know of."
"It sounds like a very political answer but, I mean, it's exciting for me because the last film, as anyone who has seen it, kind of sets an idea up that I might go further."
"So, I'm hoping... But I think whenever you're answering questions about these things, people point at you and say 'liar' as if you know more than other people," he said.
Laughing, he says that he "genuinely has no idea," adding that he's just "waiting for a call on it."
In Eternals, Harington spends much of the movie just standing by the sidelines and watching Sersi try to save the world from the Celestials, learning about her past as he goes along.

In a post-credits scene, he is inspecting the Ebony Blade, which comic book fans will know is what leads to his transformation into the Black Knight, but there has been no news from Marvel as to how they will tell this story.
In November, Harington previously said that he is "trying to live in the present" and not dwell on whether he will appear in the MCU in the near future.
At the moment, Harington is taking a break from film and TV acting to focus on the stage. He will be starring in Henry V at the Donmar Warehouse, which starts later this month and runs until April 9.
