Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards has exclusively spoken to Digital Spy about the potential for a sequel to her new Christmas movie The Housewives of the North Pole.

Richards and Breaking Bad's Betsy Brandt are currently starring in the Peacock and hayu original holiday movie as two long-time pals who have a friendship break-up over their town's annual Christmas decorating contest.

Like any good holiday film, The Housewives of the North Pole leaves on a bit of a cliffhanger for their characters Trish (Richards) and Diana (Brandt), so could a sequel happen at some point?

"We talked about that every day on the set," Richards told us. "All of us were like, 'We want to do another one'. Let's take [Diana] and Trish to London, let's take [Diana] and Trish to Hawaii. We kept talking about that, and there has been talk about that, absolutely.

"Everybody who is in the movie is on board for that."

Part of the reason why Richards and her co-stars are so willing to revisit the world of Housewives of the North Pole is because they developed a true family-like bond on set.

"There was such great chemistry with the cast," she recalled. "All of us just, really, bonded. We would have dinner. I took [my daughter] Portia with me… I had her with me on the shoot, which was so fun.

"It relieved me of having any mom guilt of leaving my youngest behind. We would all just have dinner [the cast]. We would have dinner all the time, when our schedule permitted because we were doing night shoots.

"But, we spent a lot of time together and we all really grew to care about each other. We're all on board to do a sequel."

The Housewives of the North Pole is currently streaming on Peacock in the US and hayu in the UK.
