Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is set to bring back a beloved Harry Potter character, a new poster has confirmed.
Following the release of the first full-length Secrets of Dumbledore trailer, a new promotional poster for the third Fantastic Beasts movie shows an important member of the Potter-verse front and centre.
And, seing as the movie brings a young Albus Dumbledore back to the franchise, the involvement of this popular character shouldn't come as a surprise.

We're of course talking about Dumbledore's long-time companion and defender Fawkes, a phoenix who not only saved Harry Potter's life in The Chamber of Secrets, but whose feathers made up the core of Harry and Lord Voldemort's twin wands.
Seing as Fawkes has the ability to die and rise from his own ashes several times over, this may not be the first or last iteration we see of the majestic phoenix.

The long-delayed Secrets of Dumbledore, which stars Jude Law as the Hogwarts headmaster and Mads Mikkelsen as the new Gellert Grindelwald, will follow Dumbledore as he tries to stop the powerful dark wizard from seizing control of the wizarding world.
"Unable to stop him alone, [Dumbledore] entrusts magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald's growing legion of followers," the official synopsis teases.

As well as the return of Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law, The Secrets of Dumbledore also brings back Ezra Miller as Credence (aka Aurelius Dumbledore), Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, and Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is set for release in UK cinemas on April 8, 2022 and in US cinemas on April 15, 2022.
