Towards the end of the movie, Peter makes a sacrificial decision to allow everyone to forget who he is via Doctor Strange's magic – this time, allowing Strange to conduct the spell without interference.

In discussion with The New York Times, Pascal commented: "You see Spider-Man make a momentous decision, one that you've never seen him make before. It's a sacrifice. And that gives us a lot to work with in the next film."
Faced with an anonymous future, Parker has secured the safety of his nearest and dearest, but that's one lonely road ahead indeed.

For the same publication, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige confirmed that a follow-up to No Way Home is in the early stages of development.
"Amy and I and Disney and Sony are talking about – yes, we're actively beginning to develop where the story heads next, which I only say outright because I don't want fans to go through any separation trauma like what happened after Far From Home.
"That will not be occurring this time," he added.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is available now on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download. Spider-Man: No Way Home is now in cinemas.
