Eternals star Salma Hayek has revealed which House of Gucci scene she found the most difficult, admitting that one scene she stars in with Lady Gaga was "mortifying" to film.

The actress features in the upcoming crime drama as Giuseppina 'Pina' Auriemma, a close friend of Patrizia Reggiani (Gaga), who was convicted of ordering the assassination of her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci (Star Wars and The Last Duel actor Adam Driver).

While she may be an experienced actor, Hayek has admitted that one scene on House of Gucci got the better of her, as she struggled with a mud bath that she had to share with Gaga.

"I've never done a mud bath – which, by the way, she couldn't believe it, that I had never done a mud bath – we have a little bit of dialogue before we go in," she explained while appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

"And once you're in, you're naked – well, not completely, we had something underneath but nothing on top – and the thing is that, in my head, I was going to sink. Gaga just goes in like an Egyptian queen, sits down and she starts descending."

Hayek, however, found the mud to be a little trickier to handle.

"Me, with my extra kilos, I sit on the mud and I'm not sinking. And I'm trying to [move the mud away from] my huge butt to make some way," she joked.

"And then it starts moving me around and then there's the boobs going, you know. It's a very dramatic scene and she's trying to stay focused and... I'm mortified."

She went on to describe the scene as "horrific" and the "most challenging scene I've ever done".

It seems that spa days may not be all they're cracked up to be.

Driver recently opened up about another intimate scene that he filmed with Gaga, in which their characters have a pretty wild sex scene, complete with animal noises.

"We were feeling it, so to speak! Everything I say sounds like a double entendre, but we winged it!" he said, adding that he and Gaga "felt very comfortable to go where [they] needed to go" for the scene.

House of Gucci is released in US cinemas on November 24 and in UK cinemas on November 26. Eternals is now playing in US and UK cinemas.
