Nothing quite brings the Christmas nostalgia more than Home Alone. While we've had several sequels over the years, including 2021's Home Sweet Home Alone, there's nothing quite like a rewatch of the original movie, and we're going to tell you exactly where you can watch it this Christmas.

The iconic family comedy that launched Macaulay Culkin's career is available to watch right now on Disney+. If you're not already a subscriber, becoming one has become more complicated than it once was following Disney's introduction of tiered memberships earlier this year.

Previously Disney+ cost £7.99 a month or £79.90 a year, and it was as simple as that. You can still pay £7.99 a month but that would require you to downgrade from the new £10.99 Disney+ Premium tier, which means you can no longer stream 4K HDR content, with the Standard tier capping video quality at 1080p.

There's also a cheaper £4.99-a-month tier that includes adverts. The good news is that you'll be able to watch Home Alone and anything else on the service regardless of your membership tier.

Your subscription will auto-renew when the month (or year) is up, so if you don't want to continue your access to Disney+, make sure to cancel before that happens.

What to Read Next

If you're an existing O2 subscriber and are due for an upgrade, you can get access to Disney+ by signing up for selected deals with O2 to get six months of Disney+ for free as part of a network Extra.

This offer also applies to new customers, but if you're an existing O2 customer and aren't ready to upgrade, you can add Disney+ to your current plan for £7.99 a month. As a bonus, O2 will give you £2 off your monthly bill as a result.

What's more, all six Home Alone movies – Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Home Alone 3, Home Alone 4, Home Alone: The Holiday Heist and Home Sweet Home Alone – are available to watch on Disney+.

Home Alone is also getting its traditional terrestrial airing on Channel 4 this year at 5.30pm on Christmas Day, while its sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, will be shown a day earlier on Christmas Eve at 5:25pm on ITV.

Home Alone isn't the only festive classic available to watch on Disney+ this year though as you can also enjoy The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Santa Clause and more.

There's plenty to enjoy, but just make sure to go easy on the Pepsi.

Home Alone and all of its sequels are available to watch on Disney+.
