Game of Thrones' John Bradley has joined disaster-epic-specialist Roland Emmerich's next movie, titled Moonfall.
This casting update arrives via Deadline, which reports that Frozen star Josh Gad was originally attached to the role of genius KC Houseman, but scheduling complications saw him replaced by the Samwell Tarly actor.

The Hunger Games' Stanley Tucci is also a new addition to the cast, which already boasts Halle Berry, Aquaman villain Patrick Wilson and Boardwalk Empire's Charlie Plummer.
Plot-wise, the upcoming movie features the Moon being knocked from its orbit of Earth by a mysterious force and then heading straight for our planet.
"With mere weeks before impact and against all odds, a ragtag team launches an impossible last-ditch mission into space, leaving behind everyone they love and risking everything to land on the lunar surface and save our planet from annihilation," adds a description.

Tucci is onboard as a wealthy car dealer named Tom Phillips – the husband of Brian Harper's (played by Wilson) ex-wife – while Bradley's character KC is "an eccentric and unkempt genius" who discovers the Moon's potentially catastrophic fall from orbit.
Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
