Doctor Who and Avengers star Karen Gillan has landed the lead role in sci-fi thriller Dual, with Westworld's Aaron Paul and Jesse Eisenberg also set to feature.
From director Riley Stearns, the movie will tell the story of a terminally ill woman (Gillan) who opts to have herself cloned to ease her friends and family's grief.
However, when she suddenly makes a miraculous recovery, her attempts to cancel the cloning procedure don't exactly go to plan, leading to some Gillan-on-Gillan drama.

Gillan most recently starred alongside Dwayne Johnson in the Jumanji sequel, Welcome to the Jungle, and will next appear in the spy thriller Gunpowder Milkshake.

She made her first major breakthrough in Doctor Who as the companion Amy Pond, before going on to land the role of Nebula in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. She then reprised the character for Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.
Aaron Paul can currently be seen in the third season of HBO's Westworld. The Breaking Bad star plays new character Caleb, a construction worker with a mysterious past who ends up working alongside Evan Rachel Wood's Delores.
Jesse Eisenberg, meanwhile, most recently appeared in the horror Vivarium, as well as the World War II drama Resistance.
Also joining the cast of Dual are Hawaii Five-0 star Beulah Koale and Marriage Story's Martha Kelly.
Avengers: Endgame is out now on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D, 4K and digital download, and is coming to Disney+.
