Imagine a world where Captain America was portrayed by somebody other than Chris Evans in Marvel's movies.
Although that's not a situation we're particularly keen on, it very nearly happened, as the actor's own mother Lisa Capuano Evans recently explained.
Recalling how Chris initially said no to the life-changing offer, Lisa told Esquire: "His biggest fear was losing his anonymity.

"He said, 'I have a career now where I can do work I really like. I can walk my dog. Nobody bothers me. Nobody wants to talk to me. I can go wherever I want. And the idea of losing that is terrifying to me'."
But although he had reservations about fame, Chris received some words of wisdom from his mum during this tricky time.

She continued: "He would call and ask for my advice. I said to him, 'Look, you want to do acting work for the rest of your life? If you do this part, you will have the opportunity.

"'You'll never have to worry about paying the rent. If you take the part, you just have to decide, 'It's not going to affect my life negatively - it will enable it'."
Becoming a key part of the MCU's first three Phases has made Chris one of the biggest names in Hollywood – hopefully he's got used to fame by now!
