Tom Holland's long-gestating Uncharted movie was *just* about to start filming when the coronavirus pandemic forced production to be put on hold.

Based on the best-selling video games of the same name, Holland is on board this one as treasure hunter Nathan Drake, but shooting was halted right before it was due to begin over in Berlin.

Addressing the latest delay on Justin Bieber's recent Instagram livestream, the actor revealed: "We showed up for our first day of shooting and they shut us down."

It was originally set for release in late 2020, but was then shifted to March 5, 2021, before being pushed back again earlier this week. It will now arrive on October 8, 2021.
