Now that JJ Abrams is done with Star Wars, he's turning his attention to something else: superheroes.
The Rise of Skywalker director's production company Bad Robot is in talks to develop movies and TV series based on DC Comics' Justice League Dark, according to Deadline.
There's no word yet on which characters will get their own projects, or if Abrams will actually direct anything.

However, Bad Robot's head of motion pictures Hannah Minghella and head of television Ben Stephenson apparently plan to meet with possible writers soon.
Introduced in September 2011 as part of DC Comics' New 52 relaunch, Justice League Dark follows the more supernatural members of the DC Universe, handling situations deemed outside the scope of the traditional Justice League.
The original team featured John Constantine, Madame Xanadu, Deadman, Shade, the Changing Man and Zatanna.
There's never been a live-action take on Justice League Dark before, however a direct-to-video animated film was released in 2017.
Guillermo del Toro was also on-board to direct a live-action movie all the way back in 2012, before dropping out to focus on Crimson Peak and Pacific Rim 2. Doug Liman was then attached to it in 2016, but he left himself a year later.
Let's hope JJ can finally deliver Justice League Dark to the big – and small – screen.
